This
Practice was established in the 1930's when this estate built on the
farm called "PALM". This was owned by Mr Palmer who sold
land to developers. And from this. Palmers Green was established.
And on that basis, This is whey we have named the surgery The Palm
Medical Centre. The First Doctor on these premises was Dr J Almeyda.
He practised here until 1976. Dr J Khan joined the practice with Dr
Almeyda's Daughter. Dr J Copeland remained here for 2 years, and since
then has run the surgery single handed. The building has recently undergone a full reconstruction & refurbishment to make it a modern facility. Once you enter the receptio Medical Centre is now fully computerised and soon it will be electronically connected to the local Hospitals which, will enable us to deal with the Hospital appointments on screen, get results of investigations and the discharge letters. Patients will be soon be able to make on-line bookings with the surgery. |
